A Pass Ahead Driving School

This is an area of driving instruction  that full licence holders do not often consider, but before going to the States and hiring an automatic car, experienced manual drivers sometimes wish to feel they are conversant with some of the  problems they may encounter.

I have also given help to those travelling to Canada where they knew the family car they would be using would be automatic and they wanted to feel safe when the grandchildren were under their care. 

I have known people go on holiday, who have hired a car have been too scared to use it because, in addition to driving on the right, they have encountered driving conditions they are unused to in their home locality. This lack of experience has seriously curtailed the enjoyment of their holiday.  

What happens if you are on holiday and you wish to hire a car or the car provided is an automatic or the roads are not what you are used to?

Do you stay put and not take advantage of the facilities offered to you or do you prepare before you go?

It does not always need to be planning for driving abroad as I was asked for help by a woman, who during the year only drove the children to school, but on holiday had to not only drive her husband’s car on motorways, but also  under the scrutiny of her  husband.  After the lessons she felt more confident and prepared to enjoy her holiday.
